To Wolfgang, stills and moving images are two sides of the same brain. He switches between cameras moment to moment, shifting gears from director to photographer to DoP in a microsecond.

No downtime. Nothing lost in translation. No crew switch-ups or clash of vision. One eye, one instinct, one visual language — moving as fast as his hands can keep up with his eyes.

 

And while he moves fast, he leaves room for things to happen. For people to play, experiment and trust their instincts. He guides without controlling, keeps ideas moving and makes space for the unexpected. That’s usually when things get interesting.

 

Wolfgang studied at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and is booked worldwide for international fashion, advertising and lifestyle shoots.

 

He reads books about quantum physics without understanding a word, gets tattooed to David Bowie and loves road trippin’ with his beautiful wife.
